Sikkim is renowned for its cultural and historic importance.  Gangtok is one the most beauteous hill stations in the country. The captivating fragrance of Rhododendrons is worth- feeling. Tsomgolake is a major tourist destination. It is 40 km away from Gangtok. Camping at the riverside at night must be experienced. The lake is covered with snow-clad mountains around it. Nathula pass is 53km away from Gangtok.  It is the border between India and Tibet having must explore the market there. Teesta river and some valleys like Lachen, and Lachung are exploring and adventurous places. Kanchenjunga base camp should be importantly explored when visiting Sikkim.
